AHS drama students preparing for annual Children's Theatre
The performance for grades 3-5 will be held March 30 in the AHS Performing Arts Center at 8:45am, 10am, 11:15am or 1:15pm. Students will learn all about the preamble of the Constitution with a production of We the People, where a town council plans a play that explains all the lines to the preamble.
Pre-K - 2nd graders will enjoy Treasure Islandon Friday, April 1 at 8:45am, 10am, 11:15am or 1:15pm in the AHS Performing Arts Center. This participation play follows pirates hunting for buried treasure. Songs and dances for the entire audience and a few "pirates" will be chosen from the audience to come on stage.
A public performance of both plays will be held Sunday, April 3rd beginning at 2:30pm in the AHS Performing Arts Center. Treasure Island will be performed first, approximately 45 minutes, followed by an intermission and We the People at 3:30pm. Admission is $1 (plus a donation if guests would like) at the door, all proceeds benefit the AHS Park Street Players.
