AHS Student Council members to attend conference

Six Asheboro High School students and two advisors attended the North Carolina Association of Student Councils Summer Leadership Workshop at Mars Hill College, July 16-20.

Student delegates are:  Reuben Ahukanna, Mark Haywood, Rachel Hoover, Aldo Lemus, Matt Pursley and Rebekah Siddiqi.  The two advisors are Kim Lemons and Nikki Taylor.

The workshop will feature a variety of General Sessions, Small Group Workshops, Social Events, and Seminar Sessions aimed at giving students from across the state an opportunity to get to know leaders from other schools, share ideas, and develop their own abilities as leaders.
