Congratulations to the following students on their selection to the 2009 Central District All-District Band from Asheboro High School: Eunice Lee, flute, 9-10 wind ensemble; Michelle Leach, clarinet, 9-12 symphonic band; Dave Beitzel, trombone, 9-10 Wind Ensemble; Chris Trogdon, trombone, 9-12 symphonic band; and A.J. Glasco, tuba, 9-12 symphonic band.
The Central District clinic will be held January 30-31 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will conclude with a performance in Memorial Hall at 7pm.
Congratulations to Patrick Lawrence, trombone, South Asheboro Middle School on his selection to the middle school 2009 Central District All-District Band. Asheboro City Schools will host the clinic and concert February 6-7 in the AHS Performing Arts Center.
