Cordero, Davenport receive award

Congratulations to Asheboro High School students Cadet Colonel Veronica Cordero, Squadron Commander and Cadet Lieutenant Renaldo Davenport, Personnel Officer on receiving the Air Force Junior ROTC Top Performer Award last week during their annual assessment. The Cadet Top Performer Award is an Air Force JROTC Headquarters award presented to a maximum of 2% of the current unit.
 
The award recognizes a cadet’s performance in the following key areas: leadership and job performance in primary duty and specifically in preparation for the unit’s annual assessment. The cadets must also be involved in extracurricular activities and be in good academic standing.
