Food that's IN when school is out!

When school is out many children may not be able to enjoy a nutritious meal for breakfast or lunch. The USDA’s Summer Food Service and Seamless Summer Option helps bridge that gap by providing FREE food to children, that are 18 years of age or younger, during the summer months.

This year Asheboro City Schools will operate a Seamless Summer program at Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School, located at 405 South Park Street. This program is open to any child up to age 18 and will begin on Monday, July 11th and run through Friday, August 12th. A hot breakfast will be available from 7:45am to 8:30am and a hot lunch from 11:45am until 12:30pm Monday through Friday.

We will be limited to the first 150 children on a first come, first serve basis due to seating limitations.
