Holiday luncheon set for Senior Adults
The annual Senior Holiday Luncheon for Asheboro citizens, age 60 or older, will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at Donna Lee Loflin Elementary School, 405 S. Park Street.
The luncheon begins at 12:00pm and following the luncheon guests will be treated to a special holiday performance of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by the 3rd grade Lyrical Lions. As has become tradition, door prizes will be given at the conclusion of the festivities.
A traditional holiday meal will be served at a cost of $3.00 per person; no take-out meals will be available.
The luncheon will be open to the first 135 people who call to reserve a spot by Friday, December 2nd. To place your reservation, please contact Patsy Kidd at Asheboro City Schools, 625-5104. The central office will be closed November 11th for Veteran’s Day, and November 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving.
