2012 will mark the 20th Anniversary of the new Balfour School and it is a time to reflect on how Balfour has changed over the years. If you have any information from Balfour in the past, when it was located on Fayetteville Street or when it was a high school, please get in touch with Dr. Mary Lou Diener or Wendy Graham, Balfour School, 672-0322. We don't want to lose or forget our school history.
There is a rainbow mural in the hallway that was made by the students of Balfour in 1992 - is your handprint on that mural?
There is a tile mural in the art room that was created by students at Balfour school years ago when it was located at Fayetteville Street. That mural was so special, it was brought to the new building. Did you participate in that mural project?
Did you know the bell located under the bell in the bell tower was at the Balfour High School in 1926? At some point it was stolen and returned to us in 1992 and we are looking for anyone that can help share this story.
