Public invited to hear results of graduation survey
Monday, November 3rd at 7:00pm in the Professional Development Center on the AHS campus, the public is invited to hear the results of the recent graduation survey and the recommendation prepared by the Graduation Committee.
The Graduation Committee was formed to address a request to review the date and time of graduation for the Class of 2009 and 2010 for the following reasons:
- The possible inconvenience for families of holding graduation mid-week.
- The safety issues involved with holding graduation at noon in the heat of the day.
Anyone wishing to make comment on the recommendation or provide additional input beyond the survey is welcome to speak during this public forum.
The Asheboro City Board of Education will take action on the committee’s recommendation at their next regular meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 13th at 7:30pm in the Professional Development Center located on the AHS campus.
