Senior trumpet player Adam White and senior trombonist Dave Beitzel will perform with the 11-12 Honor Band under the baton of legendary conductor, Eugene Corporon, currently the director of the internationally famous North Texas State University Wind Ensemble.
Students were chosen for this honor by submitting a taped audition and résumé. Students were selected by the UNCG music faculty from pool of applicants that included well over 300 students from a five state region, including NC, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia. A free concert will be presented on February 25th at 2 pm in Aycock Auditorium on the campus of UNCG.
