Inclement Weather Message
Asheboro City Schools will be closed for students with an optional teacher workday for staff today, December 3, 2024.  Staff, you are encouraged to only drive to work if you feel comfortable.  If you do not feel comfortable, please contact your principal to make other arrangements. Safety is our top priority for both students and staff.  All evening events are also cancelled.  This includes the "Hidden in Plain Sight" session scheduled at the ACS Welcome Center.  This session will be rescheduled for a later date and posted to the ACS Welcome Center calendar.

Here Comes The Bus App

Asheboro City Schools is proud to announce the rollout of the app, Here Comes the Bus. This app will help parents and guardians stay connected to their children’s bus route information. 

Here Comes the Bus allows parents to easily view the location of their child’s bus in real-time. It also includes an interactive map that displays the route the bus is taking, as well as its estimated time of arrival. Alerts can be sent to parents when the bus is close to the stop and when it has arrived.
